Hello —

In peace,

Erica

1, 2, 3, Count with Me —

Drop into deep focus by learning to count the Ashtanga yoga way.

In practice, every movement is associated with a breath, and each breath is counted, much like a dance. This sequential and ordered choreography lays the rhythmic foundation for our days. It hones our attention, and anchors us to the present.

Join me on March 26 @10 am PST for a counting workshop and learn:

  1. How to count in Sanskrit

  2. The vinyasa count for the primary series

  3. Tips for incorporating this into your self-practice

Ekam, Dwe, Trīṇi

Qawwali are songs of adoration and supplication. To listen is to be moved. | Masters of the Heart

“We are animals, born from the land with the other species. Since we've been living in cities, we've become more and more stupid, not smarter. What made us survive all these hundreds of thousands of years is our spirituality; the link to our land.” — Sebastião Salgado

P.S. Yogafolk’s new look is thanks to the heart, artistry and brilliance of Leah Tumerman and Chelsey Dyer Studio. Look for more changes soon.
